A while ago I mentioned that I was rewatching the drama 궁 (Princess Hours) and realized I had the wardrobe items to do an inspired look.
Some capture shots from the drama are also provided at the end of the post as a source of inspiration for this look.
Have fun dressing up like your favorite drama~! ^^
Please be generous with hyping, liking, and retweeting this look~! Thank you ^^

Okay, I thought I’d throw in a silly pose in the batch because, well, Yoon EunHye is pretty silly in the drama, and even though she becomes a princess, she doesn’t exactly act like one.
In the drama Princess Hours, Yoon EunHye has a few different styles of outfits. This look is inspired from her slightly 19th century Victorian mixed with modern cute Korean high schooler outfits.

I put together a ribbon and ruffles collar shirt, an oversized cardigan, short mesh skirt, ankle socks, plain heels, and a small straw handbag.
Shirt: mom bought on a China trip (by my request!)
Cardigan: mom bought on a Hong Kong trip
Skirt: Korean street store; $5-10?; Express Bus Terminal
Ankle socks: Korean street stand; $2; Myeongdong
Heels: $15~?; Eehwa Women’s University shopping street
Handmade Straw Handbag: $50, Night Bazaar, ChiangMai, Thailand
I actually really love to wear those ruffle ribbon shirts for work. I prefer them over the usual straight collar formal business type shirts, which I find too boring and stiff.
Instead, I like throwing in a bit of Victorian into my work outfit sometimes. I wore the top of this outfit with a pair of grey skinny pants and grey Dr. Martens to work.
I asked my mom to buy a load of these shirts for me in as many different styles as possible when she last went to China, because they are mighty expensive in Korea, and not widely available.
I literally have like a whole drawer of those ruffle ribbon shirts. Since winter is now here, you may be seeing them in some upcoming looks ^^
Makeup, Hair, Accessories

I wish the camera showed the real colors of the lipstick, because I did the Korean style of gradient lipstick — pigmented inner lips, lighter outer lips.
Apply a nude/natural lipcolor all over your lips, then a more pigmented pink on the most inner parts of your lips. Press your lips together to blend.
Also, if you want to braid your hair and hold it without an elastic, just braid loosely on the top, and tighter at the end. When you’ve braided down all the way to the tips of your hair, hold the end tightly and ‘backcomb‘ the ends with your fingers. Backcomb by pushing upwards to create knots. Then hairspray the tips. Voila!

I super duper love this handmade straw handbag from Thailand. I actually had to go back a 2nd time to buy it because it was so expensive (in terms of Thailand goods), but it was just so vintage and unique, I caved.
Thailand actually has really nice quality handbags for the price. I bought 3 handbags in Chiang Mai and have use all of them in my looks now — blue and yellow leather square bag (Lookbook: One), pink handbag (Lookbook: Six) and this handmade straw handbag.
Inspiration
The key items for this look are really…
1) a ruffle and/or ribbon shirt
2) a cardigan in a fun color or pattern
3) a cute hair accessory or earrings.
It’d be even better if you can throw in…
4) a pair of heels (or flats)
5) a small handbag (she never carries big shoulder bags!)

If the skirt is too girly or dressy for you, you can replace it for a pair of jeans.
She actually does this a lot in the drama, but keep it feminine with a pair of heels or pretty flats.
*phew*! It took forever to get this post up because I spent like… HOURS going through the whole drama and capturing all her outfits. So, I’m sorry to be so slow on updates!
I even captured the outfits not in the same style as this post, as I’d like save them for later to do maybe one or two more Goong inspired outfits XD. Especially if you guys like this one ^^
A lot of that time was also put into rewatching my favorite parts as well, I guess =p
I hope you guys enjoyed this post.
I’ll have to slip in a disclaimer here to say that, by doing an inspired look, I am not saying that I am Yoon EunHye, or trying to be like her. As a fan of the drama, I just had lots of fun dressing up as one of my favorite princesses XD
Winter is here and Christmas is around the corner. What is everyone planning to do for the holidays?
I went on a small shopping haul a few days ago. I’ll share it with you guys in a later post, maybe on Christmas day ^^
